No matter how many people use Paltalk, it's a small percentage of all the KATG listeners. The key thing stopping many people is the cost of getting Paltalk.

And running Windows on a Mac just to use video chat - lame. It's overly costly and either inconvenient or slow as hell.

And so what if you just bought a Paltalk sub? No one promised you the KATG feed for the length of your term.

So much WAAAAAAAA-ing on this thread.

When you click on a name, it opens up a new tab (or window) and switches to that one, so you're constantly having to switch back, and close out of the new tab/window.

You can't turn off auto scroll, so when you miss something (which you will every time you accidentally click on someone's name, due to the tiny chat box) you can't scroll up and read it back easily.

The chat gets cleared after only a little bit, as opposed to the (now) old chat, paltalk, skype, stickam, etc., etc. that doesn't clear the chat quickly, livecam only keeps a record of about 25 lines of text. So even if they DID have a way to stop the auto scroll, you can only read back about 30 seconds.

You can't open links without turning off your pop-up blocker (for me, anyways, but my blocker gets a little overzealous sometimes, so I don't know if it's universal or not)

Last but not least, no smilies.

The amount of people that use paltalk was actually a fairly large percentage of people that use the chats on a regular basis.

How many really? 100? 200? The show gets 35,000 listeners plus. I don't think it's really a LOT of people. Plus, how many people will be able to enjoy the video experience that haven't been able to in the past.

Still a small amount of the overall KATG listenership.
