I called my friend who works in the B&N eBook dept to ask her what the holdup was on getting the nook version of WDWDN out, for those who have been trying to order it. She couldn't give me details on why it wasn't available yet, but she said she'd see what she could do.

Nothing so exciting. Just a brit in a bowler.

The stereotypical British person imagines the sterotypical person from the USA (both from the 1950s) thinks the British dress like this. I'd've done better with a brolly, but ...

... there's also a Belgian allusion.

I heard them announce a second printing. If a normal book sells it first printing in one week, it is a NYT top ten. (about 10k is a normal 1st run)
This book is not even an Amazon top 100? They must have done a small 1st run of 1k or 2k.

No No you need to look at specific lists...not top 100 lists. Also they may have not made any list because stores ran out of them.

Went to my favourite bookstore today, didn't have the book. Demanding they order it. Already finished my copy and passed it around to friends.

Also, a friend works at a library centre which catalogues all the books for the public and school libraries for that city, and she had the pleasure of catalogueing the book as it came in. I'd assume it *didn't* make it to any schools
