Since today is the final day of the Steam holiday sales, you may want to look at all the awesome stuff that isn't part of the daily deals.

I listed them here and here.

Bold things are the best things.

Just picked up Defense Grid and Trine for dirt cheap. I love physics games!

It truly is. Though I don't think any of my oxen have ever died trying to ford the river, one time one of them got struck by lightning. My highest score so far is 21,250.

My worst playthrough was when I died suddenly of an unknown ailment, when I hadn't even been warned I had it. Instant game over. Wtf.

Haha, yeah no problem. I'm looking to pick up Far Cry 2 or something along those lines, so I decided to get rid of a bunch of games that I don't ever play. Hopefully you'll get more fun out of it than I did.

If you're on 360 and fancy some co-op, I have Resi 5 but have yet to play it.

Mass Effect

It's very well done, but i have this weird feeling that the whole thing is more concerned with being "deep" and "epic" that with me actually enojoying the game.

CHEAP GAME TIME

Crayon Physics Deluxe is on sale for £Whatever the hell you want, which is becoming a lovely tradition. It won the IGF Grand Prize in 2008, here's a video:

If you don't get it on this offer then it's like I don't even know you.

Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter is on sale on Steam, 66% off or £6.11. It's hilarious and brilliant and stupid and has 16 player co-op!

King's Bounty: The Legend is 40% off on GamersGate £5.95. Not played it myself but I hear great things, a rather lovely looking tactical RPG.

Supreme Commander and it's expansion are together £4.99 on Impulse. Mad, massive RTS from the Total Annihilation guys.

I started the game after getting it ridiculously cheap of (surprise) Steam but, thanks to the big game season, I'm still in the Citadel. I love the depth and design of the universe but I'm a Trek fan so I guess I would.
