I have probably spent 2x the amount I paid for TF2 on TF2 items. I have still gotten far more value from the game than any other game I have ever played. I'm coming up on 400 hours of play time in the 3 years that I've had it and I still love to play it. Valve turned a great game with a huge userbase into something profitable without forcing people to download extra content if they dont want it and still want to play (like when HALO map packs come out and if you don't buy them you can't really play MP anymore).

I love Valve.

Finally bought Super Meat Boy for less than $4 today...I wish I had a better gamepad, but this game rocks, in an almost Trials HD kind of way. Can't wait to waste some time at work tomorrow playing this.

btw, I don't feel like I've been real into the Steam sale this year. Last year was my first one and I bought a about ten games, but this year I've only bought one so far. I know I'll probably pick up a couple more before the sale is over, but I seriously need to invest in a better gaming pc so I feel more inspired to start throwing my money at Valve. Super Meat Boy runs laggy on my laptop for crying out loud.

Anyone played CivCity Rome? Obviously I'll be getting it anyway at that price, just wondering whether it's worth installing that first over Football Manager.

I heart that game, and you, so much. Please tell me you're making your way to NYC this April so I can get acquainted with your zombie-killing sexy self.

Did anyone else pick up Amnesia yesterday, or at all? I did and am trying to work up the balls to really get into it. Any words of encouragement?
