Had I based the purchase on the demo, I probably wouldn't have bought it. Luckily my brother-in-law got it for me as a birthday present, ergo I have it and am 2/3rds the way through it. It's good, but it really is a copy of all the sci-fi that came before it. Totally event horizion.

Yeah, it's just an arena. Not a great demo but I can tell when they did it that way, rather than give you part of the game.

I actually liked the Dead Space demo- it was hard as hell at first and took a couple tries to get through. I think I beat it on the third try and by then I had a fair understanding of what my weapons did and how to avoid the freaky mangled monsters.

After the holidays, I'm picking it up for sure.

I played the Dead Space demo for about 3 minutes, stopped and deleted it from my HD. I am kind of a sissy. I'll have to re-download and force myself to get through a few more tries...
