I don't know about prices in NZ but last i heard, they have a 18+ rating. It's a few of our bible thumping, geriatric politicians that are stopping an R classification for games being introduced in Oz.

As for our prices, it's well documented that game prices in Australia are insane. Unless you want to fork out $80-$100 for a game that may be utter shit (fuck you Gears Of War), you're best off to stick to the bargain bin titles.

The normal difficulty is well balanced, and there's an even easier difficulty if that's too much. There are, however, like 4 difficulties higher than normal, so some part of that game will rape your face if you want it to.

Right now WoW is cutting into my console time pretty heavily. I may have to fast from WoW for a couple weeks after I hit 80 so I can catch up on everything.

Next game i'm buying is Ninja Gaiden 2 as i was tricked when i was asked to pick a game for Xmas. I'll probably go back to DMC3 and beat that before getting DMC4.

100 New Zealand dollars is worth about 60 US dollars - so there's not really much difference between the actual game retail price.

I've never gotten along with oddball controllers for games. Wasn't there some $200 controller the size of a pool table for an early mech game, or am I imagining it?
