Starcraft 2 is almost out! They will be starting open betas in a few months. I updated my battle.net account a few days ago to opt in for beta tests.

Yeah, you have to run some software they give you and it sends them info on your current hardware. Its so they can randomly send beta invites to people with different levels of computing power.

I ALMOST bought that game again yesterday. That would've been my third time, I believe. I'm sad that I have no desire to upgrade my current pc/buy a new one so I can play Starcraft 2.

That looks quite deliciously like original StarCraft. I am extremely sad that I will not have a computer to run SCII anytime soon.

I heard they deliberately designed it to be very scalable so it can run on as many machines as possible (it being a competitive game played as a national sport in Korea and all).
