The hype train for Dragon Age got me on board yesterday after reading the reviews and watching some videos.
I didn't even realize it was coming out that morning but after work I went and picked up the special edition and played it till one in the morning. Money well spent. |

Playing the 4th episode from the "Tales of Monkey Island Series", "The trial and execution of Guybrush Threepwood".
Wether you like this type of games or not, you really should giove this series a chance. The Telltale guys are the worthy successors to the Sierra/Lucasarts throne. They have an eye for detail, a respect for the originals and they're making what seems to be a classic game. They give a strange push towards drama in this episode that just shows how talented they are. I know that drama and monkey island seems a weird combo, but it actually works (thanks also to some incredible voice actin by Dominic Armato). The puzzle and graphics are top notch, but seeing one of the iconic characters of my gameplaying youth develop so well is touching. If only Ragnar Tornquist could do the same with the Longest Journey universe... |

Borderlands. But I havent clocked in much time on that one yet, but I had heaps of fun playing it with some friends.
Dragon Age looks pretty awesome. Definately going to try it. And I just got the Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning 10 day trial. I ended up playing the game last year when it first came out with abunch of buddies, but it didnt live up to the hype.. But I figured i'd spend some hours on it again. |

If you're jonsing for a little Diablo-style dungeon crawling, loot-fest, take a look into Torchlight. It isn't from any big name developer, but it is damn good. I mean, surprisingly good. Plus it's only $20. Can't go wrong.

QFT. Any idea when the next installment is coming out? I know they were thinking of going episodic (not unlike Monkey Island) for the next installment of TLJ/Dreamfall, but haven't heard anything solid recently.
