Do people play Xbox or PS3? I'm Blitzgal on both.

Well, yeah. But not for all games.

Yeah I play 80% PC and 20% PS3. Some games just can't be played on PC. I couldn't stand Batman: Arkham Asylum on PC for example, but it's great on PS3. Same with Assassin's Creed.

Having finished Darksiders (which has a pretty cool ending imo) I moved on to:

So far I've recruited the Bounty Hunter DLC guy and the Sniper. I'm midway through getting the Warlord.

Very well made game. I'm impressed.

You can just plug in a controller (any controller) to a PC and play that way. Batman and some racing games work well like that.

While I agree on the controller thing, for me it's often also about a sort of feeling I feel some games require for me...

racing games, I need to be sitting in front of a large screen tv.
most adventure games, I want it on a large screen, me sitting a bit back and kinda I dunno, leaning towards the tv...

but other games, rts games....any mmo....it requires me to be relaxed in my desk chair, at my desk, with my computer right in front of me....face-to-screen, hand on mouse...I dunno

Games have a "feel"/"posture" I feel suits them, and it can only be achieved with a console sometimes, and sometimes with a PC.

I agree, but Monoprice.com is your friend. I can switch to my TV as a second monitor and either watch stuff through Boxee or switch a game to that screen and play with a controller. I love playing Dirt 2 on there while I sit way too close.

Just run an HDMI or DVI to HDMI out to the tv and an optical or miniplug splitters/extensions to your receiver.

On the Boxee side, I can control it with my Droid and shut down the computer remotely when I'm done. <3 technology.

This is definitely something I should consider when it comes time to make my Christmas wishlist...for the moment though, I'll be stuck to just moving from my room to the living room when I want to play a certain game.

Now if only they had a section for mp3 players that can hold 100+ gb and aren't made by Apple or Microsoft...amirite!?

I beat Arkham Asylum, the story that is, the other day. Totally loved that game. I played a little challenge mode, fun, and I'll probably go around the island finding the Riddler things I missed some time later...but I'm really glad I gave that game a shot, it was well worth it.

Now in my spare gaming time I might try to finish off FO3 once and for all, I'll feel dumb if I buy New Vegas without having completed it first.

Oh and my roommates have iPhones, I don't....and they've been playing this game called Doodle Jump on them....I finally asked one to let me play, and it's pretty addicting.

I also finally tried Plants vs. Zombies, also fun and addicting.

I miss simple games sometimes, they're usually surprisingly fun...if made well.
