I remember early in the first book when Lady the direwolf was killed, I gasped out loud "How cruel this book is!"

Never in the history of mankind has such an inadequate misjudgment of what to come been made. I guess someone saying "Hitler seems mean" in 1933 would be a close comparison

I'm in Calgary, if you ever find another series to help us chase the dragon please do share!!!!

Game of thrones is more like riding the dragon for a long period and then the supply line drying up completely. Every time you start to get into a good dealer and it becomes regular that mother fucker dries up. Now that the last book is read there isn't even a relief of having a new supply coming anytime soon, it could be years!!!!!

I was surprised that I actually enjoyed it. It was such an easy read and perfect for drunk reading on a Cuban beach. I went through it like peanuts.

I highly recommend reading The Spark: A Mother's Story of Nurturing Genius by Kristine Barnett. It's amazing.
