the only good part of the movie was imagining Michael Fassbender and Beast hatefucking to console each other over their dead ex-girlfriend.

I re-watched Bad Times at the El Royale and enjoyed it again. Since we have foster kids we’ve mainly been watching renditions of Baby Shark (fucking kill me) and kids movies.

Devil’s Rejects was great and I’m hoping this one will be too. Rumor has it Clint Howard plays a role as a clown. Plus Danny Trejo is returning.

Very exciting.

This movie was an overly long commercial for Sturgill Simpson’s song The Dead Dont Die.

I kept asking if we should leave. It was so incredibly bad. I wish we had. The first 15 mins were fun. Iggy Pop as a zombie. Tom Waits as crazy guy off grid guy. But omg it just got bad - quick.

I grew up on Jim Jarmusch films. Beginning to think he’s a hack.

It' difficult to describe how much I hated this. It might be the worst film I've seen in 20 years.

Never even heard of it but I'm very intrigued

Greta C maybe? I dunno. I kinda skipped around after watching for 30 minutes. It takes too long to bring you to that incredibly uncomfortable place that is the whole reason to watch it. Greta and Whatsherface just act like estranged family members for far too long and it's not engaging until Greta starts going psycho. The roommate is so boring and preachy and one note she coulda been played via voice over.

Legend - C also

What you hope is a movie about how these crime bosses ran london's underworld for years turns into a far less interesting story about a dumb woman who fell in love with a rich violent asshole and then kept resenting him for being an asshole who uses violence to stay rich. Bless up for Tom Hardy in almost anything. but watch Layer Cake if you want a british gangster flick.

Toy Story 4. Hated it, found the story really depressing. Feel like i'd have been better off forever having this on my to-watch list without ever actually seeing it. The day before I saw Yesterday, enjoyed that a lot.

Thinking of treating myself to a trip to watch Midsomer on Thursday. Not sure how I feel about them not actually going for s midsummer release.

Damn, really? I thought Legend was quite good, I'd definitely agree that Layer Cake is even better though.

I recommended it to my folks and my dad reported back that mom didn't realize the same actor played two characters until the credits rolled and I thought that was hilarious.
