Or had a proper story line? Was a good movie though and I liked it heaps, it had that whole get a crew and fight your way to the boss feel.

I'm about 40 min into Towelhead. It's written by Alan Ball so I am/was excited to watch it. It takes the American Beauty creepy-factor and turns it up from 1 to 11.

A note for Mr Ball:
I love your work. Six Feet is amazing and I loved it. Beauty is all-time-great. I shouldn't be turning off a flick 1/3 of the way in, because it's too fucked-up to watch.

Mikey has nothing on our favorite queer screenwriter.

I'll watch the rest later.

Just finished: Burn After Reading a bad outing for the waning Coen bros. and the abridged and arresting Sweeny Todd as envisioned by Tim Burton.

I just saw that ... I liked it, but I think you're right, it wasn't the Coen's at their best...

Planet Terror, a shitload of fun, but apart from her go-go dancing during the opening credits Rose MacGowan was pretty crap. Everyone else, aces 10.

Also saw Juno the night before, cute as pie, laughed more than I thought I would. Michael Cera has such a girly mouth.

Weird, I really liked this, its not their best, but much better than No country. Brad Pitts final scene in it was fantastic.

Agreed

I think it started kinda slow for me, but once it got going it was great.
