This is the making of the last scene, done in Adobe After Effects (watch the film first):

I just saw Resident Evil: FINAL CHAPTER
kinda disappointing in terms of giant crazy over the top action, especially compared to the last movie where there were houses full of clones and multiple Michelle Rodriguezes and fighting big crazy monsters up an elevator shaft. This felt super tame and in my head its because Milla got pregnant during shooting and came back to it after the baby came out. Like she needed more time to rest I think. but instead they just did kinda lame fights instead.

I saw Power Rangers this week. I am surprised that I didn't hate it!
What I liked about it was the Breakfast Club Jr, teen angst-a-thon that was the first 40 minutes of the movie. Everyone talking about how they're different and poor and sad and alone; I LIVE for that shit. When they eventually Morphed everything kinda got lame and I think it's entirely cuz all the bad guys in this movie were CGI. Seeing them do bad capoeira against green screen nothings was super boring.

What threw me off for most of the movie was how the guy named Jason looked EXACTLY like Billy from the OG show.
i give it a 6/10

I just saw this today
holy fuck did I cry alot

For those who can't be fucked with Subtitles, the plot is a teenaged boy from Tokyo and a teen girl who's family still carries out shinto ceremonies in a rural mountain town start switching bodies when they sleep. To try and figure out what's going on they start communicating to each other with messages written on their bodies. They try to meet each other and things happen

it was beautiful

I was the only person there without kids and I was the only one who laughed at the subtle japanese jokes instead of just the obvious physical ones - ie there's a scene where Mitsuha is in Taki's body and talking to his friends. They become suspiscious and concerned when she uses the more female version of the word "I" and she has to quickly run down all the ways to say it until she uses the one city boys accept as normal. I really LOL'd. you had to be there
