What's up with Israel?
 

As a curious gentile, I've been wondering a lot lately about more and more articles out of Israel that are very disturbing.

From stories of back seat bus rides, spitting on an 'immodest' 8 year old, to the over the top banning of women from speaking at a gynecology conference, Israel seems to be headed to putting all those hot army women in burqas.

Then there's the commercials, suggesting that Israeli Jews shouldn't get involved with American Jews because all American Jews celebrate Christmas.

I'd like to see Chemda do a show about this and if it's media over-hype or a real, and very disturbing, change in Israeli society.

They stink.

Israel's always been pretty disturbing. Nothing about that country has ever been good.

Pertaining to this: what nation do you think is particularly good?

Doing some reading I've learned that Hasid's in Israel don't work (gotta study the Torah!), live on government subsidies and often have 7 or 8 kids.

Sooo.. they're essentially desert trailer trash.

Oh, and they don't like the Israeli state anymore than the Palestinians do, because they're not supposed to have a state until the messiah comes. But, of course, that doesn't stop them from living there and accepting public aid while spitting on 8 year old 'whores'.

Forget trailer trash, they're just assholes.

Either you are trying to say that Israel is without blame, or you are trying to excuse Israel's crimes because someone else in the world did them once, and both are reprehensible.

By the way, how can anybody be surprised that a nation that was founded on the idea that a made-up religious text is a land deed has a problem with religious extremism?
