Wick is a Good Boy KATG Listener Challenge
Kristy and I are longtime listeners (since day one) and enjoy KATG while working as comic book color artist for color studio Hi-Fi every day. Recently we ventured into the world of writing, illustrating and publishing children's storybooks. Our first two books, Wick is a Good Boy and Wick Goes to School are now available for iPad, Kindle, & Nook.
Kristy and I are sponsoring KATG for 5 episodes starting with episode #1657: "Would You Rather". We are proud to have the opportunity to support KATG and are giving you the chance to prove KATG listeners are "Aces 10" with the Wick is a Good Boy KATG Listener Challenge. How can you help? •1000 DOWNLOADS If Wick is a Good Boy receives at least 1000 combined paid downloads during the promotion we will add a special “Thank You Keith and the Girl” page to an upcoming Wick and Kelty adventure. •500 REVIEWS If Wick is a Good Boy receives at least 500 combined positive reviews during the promotion all reviewers names will be added to the thank you page of an upcoming Wick and Kelty adventure. •TOP RANKINGS If Wick is a Good Boy makes the front page of the iTunes iBookstore and/or the Top 20 Kindle Bestsellers on Amazon during the promotion we will draw cartoon animal versions of Keith and Chemda into a future Wick and Kelty book. •YOUR PET AS A CARTOON We will choose one listener at random from all e-mail receipts received to have their dog or pet drawn as a cartoon in a future Wick and Kelty adventure. Visit WickBook.com for full details and links to download Wick is a Good Boy and Wick Goes to School for iPad, Kindle, or Nook. Since not all KATG fans listen live the Wick is a Good Boy KATG Listener Challenge will run through October 15th at which point we will compile the names of everyone who has sent in a copy of their receipt for the Thank You page in an upcoming Wick and Kelty storybook and draw the name of one lucky KATG listener to have their pet drawn as a cartoon in the same upcoming book. Thank you for downloading and reviewing our new storybooks. Kristy and I appreciate you supporting KATG sponsors like us. With your participation in the Wick is a Good Boy KATG Listener Challenge you will help us spread the word about our new storybooks and help keep KATG running strong. Sincerest thanks, Brian & Kristy Miller |
Will get onto this when I get home to my wifes' iPad. The artwork looks brilliant from the pics on the iTunes page.
Good luck with it all, think my daughter will love this. |
Thanks, Brian!
Hope everyone helps! |

KATG fans! Here is the big question. If this listener challenge is successful, what breed of dog should Keith be drawn as? What about Chemda? I can not wait to draw a dog wearing a sleeveless shirt.
|
This makes me want to buy an iPad, Kindle, or Nook.
Keith should be drawn as a mongrel who looks mad even when his actual emotion is neutral. Chemda should look like whichever dog has the most poofed up hair. |
First a great big thank you to Keith and Chemda for the fantastic manner in which they incorporated the Wick is a Good Boy ads into the show. The episode with Jesse Joyce had me cracking up!
Kristy and I knew we were taking a chance advertising a children's storybook on KATG. Our hope is enough listeners have children or knew people with children to make a big impact. Kristy and I thank the KATG listeners who are checking out WickBook.com, downloading and reviewing the Wick & Kelty storybooks. Still want to see Keith and Chemda drawn as cartoon dogs in an upcoming Wick & Kelty book? You still have 15 days to make this happen. Visit, WickBook.com today! |
Bought, read, relished, reviewed, really looking forward to more.
Come KATGers, get on board! A review doesn't cost anything so lets use those mouse clicker fingers for reviewing and 5 starring a big KATG supporter. |
October 15th, 2012
YOUR PET AS A CARTOON Contest Winner announced: BRIAN WARD from Perth, Australia is the big winner and will have his per drawn as a cartoon in a future Wick & Kelty adventure book! Thank you to everyone who left a review on iTunes and Amazon and a special thank you to those fans who downloaded Wick is a Good Boy and Wick Goes to School and enjoyed the two books with their families. If you sent us a copy of your download receipt look for your name on the THANK YOU page of the upcoming book titled, Kelty Come Home. We did not hit the goals to draw Keith & Chemda from KATG as cartoons animals in the next Wick & Kelty storybook but we are proud to have supported Keith and the Girl and appreciate each and every KATG listener who participated in the listener challenge. THANK YOU! |
Congrats to Brian!
Also, it's not too late to help a fellow listener. Please take a moment to check out the book, give it 5 stars, review it, buy it, anything! Please help out. It only takes a minute. The Wick & Kelty Adventures Thanks, guys! |
