Let me just be clear, I wouldn't trust any politician with my ATM card. I wouldn't trust any of them with my lunch money. I don't trust any of them with my tax dollars and I don't trust any of them to do anything not in their own self interest. I don't like O'Biden's sneaky slick way of doing shit. I don't like McPalin's ham handed card playing. I don't even care for B-Root's co-option of the Libertarian platform when he ran face first into the Peter principle. I want less government in my life. Based on the "How smart are you poll" here on the forums, most of the people reading this believe that they are themselves, smarter than the average bear. So why do so many of you want to give up more control of your individual lives to clerks? As much as you might want to believe in a politician's speeches and plans, who implements those plans? The people who you see at the DMV, the Post Office, and the VA hospital run them. Whether you agree with Obama or McCain, the people actually responsible for running any program they put into place will be the people who you see when you pay a traffic ticket, hear when you call 911, contend with when you visit your parole officer, or deal with when you try to apply for a business license or argue about a water bill. I am seriously considering writing in Jeremy and Dina on my ballot this Nov 4, but I won't do it without their permission. If you guys win I'd like to suggest that Mikey be made Minister of Punishment and that Sooners be Chief of Facepalming Congress. Bebe should probably be the Ambassador to Everywhere-Keith-Isn't-Sure-We-Need and she can send us all downangle pics of her with all the other world leaders. After work, I'll be on my back porch drinking a homebrew and cleaning my gun if you need me. I think we're having brisket, challah, and veggies from the garden tonight. Hang a North when you hit Toledo.
