wrong things people say about Corona
I tried out the podcast Paul F Tompkins does with his wife.
In the first minutes she said, there will be no medication because there is nothing we can do against a virus. I wanted to scream. Have you heard of HIV/aids? It used to be a death sentence and now normal life is possible for people with access to medicine of course. It's a virus we found medication for. Not a cure but something to keep the virus in check. There will be medication. When and how good we will see. |

you’re missing the point that Christ wants us to depend only on Him and not The World. he’s reminding us what’s important; slowing down, family time, and women doing domestic duties.

When I read American media, everyone wants the tests and is mad because because they can’t get tested.
As a person in Germany i can say, it doesnt matter anymore if you get tested or not. Just behave as if you were positive, dont spread the virus, stay inside if you can. The test is not the cure. And if you test negative, you might be positive tomorrow. |

H.G. Wells has a quote that goes something like: "Statistical thinking will one day be as necessary for efficient citizenship as the ability to read and write."
It'd be interesting to know how high the correlation is between dipshits who don't grasp the "flattening the curve" concept and the goofuses who didn't take math seriously in school because "I'll never need to know this, god already invented calculators!" Same mouth-breathers who don't understand compound interest probably, except in this case their ignorance isn't just a danger to their own finances. Quote:

The virus can be contained it seems, just really slowly and at a fierce cost for thge economy, the hospitals and the mental statre of people who might need to give up freedoms they never would have other wise (a thing i can see both oin my relative, friends and neighbours) |
