I do think Mel Gibson's career is over because; look at that guy from Seinfeld (kramer) who used the N-word and I haven't seen of or heard him since!!
ALSO ... Mel? for a GUY!!? what is that even short for?!! FUCKIN' QUEER! |

Michael Richards was a nobody, besides being on Seinfeld. He had no career whatsoever even before the n-word thing,
Gibson will bounce back. If he quits the bottle, finds a serious agent that downsizes his ego and decides to do Mad Max 4 or Lethal Weapon 5 he'll be on top again. I would watch those. If he doesnt he can die in a junkyard for all i care. He exists for my entertainment only. |

I think that even if he did a movie on the history of the Klan and show them as proud american heroes he could get away with it. |

Mel Gibson Viking Movie May Be His Last -- Vulture
So he's got at least one more movie coming. I'll admit right now that I'm gonna watch it because hey, the man makes good movies. If it were a Jesus movie, I'd probably skip it and say I was boycotting, but I can't pass up Vikings. |

I think he's done. He might have movies coming out, and i'm sure some people would see any movie he might make in the future, but who is going to work with him now? I don't think any production company, or any other established actors will work with him, he's too tarnished. At least, i hope they don't - i definitely won't be seeing anything else that might put more money in his pocket. He's gross.
Saying that, i can't remember the last movie i saw of his - i'm definitely not his target audience, and they might stick with him. |

Hollywood Studios doesnt give a hit if someone is a racist mysoginist drunk, as long as they're able to make movies and make them earn money. The "image" thing works up to a point and if he stops pretending to be a serious actmeanor and director and accepts commercial compromise again, he'll get movies, and everyone will love him again.
I mean, look at Mickey Rourke. He's a complete fuck up and he keeps getting roles, even good ones. And he can barely act now. |
