I've never looked at a leaked celebrity photo. Not because I'm above it, but because they all pretty much look the same but with slightly different complexions. You've seen one fit twenty/thirty something, you've seen them all. At this point I'd rather see Rebel Wilson nude than Jennifer Lawrence cause at least that would be relatively different.

I think the most interesting or creepy thing about the leak is this rumour I heard that there is a very closed-off celebrity nudes trading ring on the deep web. The story goes that it's probably a very small group of hackers who keep this stuff amongst themselves (since if everyone had the pics they'd be worthless as a trading commodity). It seems that the leaker was either a relative newbie to this group or was somehow pissed with them and so did a picdump of his collection. The evidence seems to point to this, for example the Winstead pictures are years old at this point, there is evidence of more pictures and videos being existing but not released etc. It seems that some hackers have had these celebrities on the line for some time and there's a lot more material out there.

The good, kind, empathetic part of me feels sorry for these celebrities, but the masturbating monkey part of my brain keeps saying 'boobs' at me and it's very distracting.

You're a piece of shit if you spent more than 2 seconds looking for those photos.

It's a different situation from gawking at a car crash that happens out in public and people are around to take a million photos and videos of you. That shouldn't be allowed either, but it's not a crime. Women were specifically targeted in this case.
