I have a mother, a father, a half-sister, and three half brothers in Michigan, (if they're still alive) that I've never met.

I grew up wondering if the kid sitting next to me in school was related. Katy's story is crazy, but every adopted kid wonders.

my cousins that i grew up with now have kids (with different, terrible men) who I have never met. They left NY for TN a decade and a half ago and I haven't been down there for about 10 years.

This Christmas I did meet a (half) brother I did not know existed. My brothers decided to go see our father for some reason and so I joined them. We got immediately drunk and met with some half brothers who I hadn't seen since childhood. (I come out to my 40 year old half brother and he threatens to beat it out of my, little does he know I like being spanked) 2 hours in my father says "OK We're going on trip. We're gonna meet a really nice guy."

We're like, what are you taaaalking about? and he says "we're gonna see ya'll brother" Previous to this we had thought I was the last of 8, and for Christmas he gave us a 9th brother.

We drove out to Hempstead and met this guy in his 30s, his italian fiance and 2 kids. So I guess I also met my niece and nephew

Mark Ruffalo gays it up waaaay harder in Foxcatcher. I mean, his character isn't gay at all but he wrestles with and coddles the emotionally disturbed and abused brother played by Channing Tatum. Not at all ashamed to say their relationship, and wrestling and their booties in those tights turned me on in that movie.
