i'll listen to the show in a little bit, but on first glance the answer to the poll question for me is yes. i recklessly smoke a lot of weed.

Germany's next general election is September 2017 so we won't have to deal with that for a year which is great because with the refugee crisis we would get a really terrifying result right now.

But there are local elections in my state in March so starting ~2 weeks ago the posters for local candidates started appearing. And especially the ones for the smaller parties are sometimes so adorably silly with bad pictures and slogans.
In my town for example I can pick from 20 parties but probably 5 or 6 will be the main players.

On the show, I predicted 3 Supreme Court Justices would die/retire in the next 8 years. US Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia just died today. 1 down 2 more to go.

I doubt a Republican Senate would allow Obama to appoint a liberal judge to replace the conservative Scalia. They'll likely delay the appointment until the next president. We'll see.

Either way, the next President will likely get to appoint 2 additional seats. Even if you think both parties are the same (you're wrong), do you want a Republican or Democratic President to make an appointment?
