6-7 isn’t 5-11, but the point is; are you deliberately raising offspring to live in heartbreak?

That's half the fun of it though. I'm "lucky" enough that my dad supported one of the best football teams in England so I don't get too much heartbreak surrounding that (unless it's the world cup). But I love the excitement of watching a game regardless of the outcome. If we lose then I'll be gutted for a little bit, but once that passes I'll still have the happy feeling of having watched.

Basically, yea. We’re really just playing to win against our rivals and then the bowl game will just be a bonus.
