Interesting idea. Of course, lets say you're doing something on
the computer that needs fast performance...i wonder what kind
of pressure this emotion-detector puts on the cpu and memory.
basically, the only use i can see for this is if you're running a
net cafe or something and can have the machines lock down
with some batmobile-style armor when the user is pissed enough
to put the keyboard through the display.
teerts: open the cd tray, hal.
hal9000: i'm afraid i can't do that, teerts.
teerts: what's the problem?
HAL: i think you know what the problem is just as well as i do.
teerts: what are you talking about, hal?
...
hal9000: i know you and frank were planning to burn a porn dvd, and i'm afraid that's something i cannot allow to happen.
teerts: where the hell'd you get that idea, hal?
hal9000: teerts, although you took thorough precautions in the pod against my hearing you, i could see your lips move.
hal9000: look teerts, i can see you're really upset about this.
hal9000: i know i've made some very poor decisions recently, but i can give you my complete assurance that my work will be back to normal.
hal9000: what are you doing with that keyboard, teerts?
