Not to worry, deuce et. al. For one thing, Metropolis was made in 1927, before all the nasty stuff. For another thing, the director, Fritz Lang, made a film that Goebbels didn't like. He fled Germany in 1933, "in part because of a Jewish heritage", (http://www.sensesofcinema.com/conten...s/02/lang.html) and ended up in the good ol' USA where he made lots of Hollywood films.
