I was at catholic school so I had to go to church every morning. It was a cathollic school so that was a given. We had some muslims in the school and they obviously didn't have to so they used that time to do homework. Bastards. I was always jealous of that. If you choose to go to a clearly religious school then suck it up. If you don't then you should not have to say it.
In the UK people are equally pissed that the national anthem of the country is "God Save the Queen." Not because of God but because a lot of people in the UK would rather have "God Save the Country" and have the queen beheaded in a revolution.
The queen doesn't need saving by God, she has lots of money and bodyguards for that.
