Depends on the Muslim. Thank God I never had to go to one of these, but Uzbeks hold their circumcision parties at different ages. I seem to remember 7 being the favored age for it. Nobody tells the boy what's gonna happen other than that he'll get a lot of presents. I guess it's like a bar mitzvah, but waaaay more traumatizing.
