That said, I still think the Halo series is one of the most overrated on the planet. I bought Halo 3 because it was on for $20, and I couldn't wait to get rid of it. There was nothing appealing in the gameplay, the controls weren't anything interesting and the graphics, while good, were just that - good.

But I know I'm in the minority, hell - I still think Oblivion is tied.. no, BEATS halo in the most overrated games ever made.

I mean seriously, Oblivion? Where the men are men, and the females are men, too!
So a game that has over 200+ hours of deep balanced single player gameplay is overrated cause it does not have the best animations.

and nobody would be calling halo 3 overrated if COD4 didn't come out a month after it and deservedly steal the spot light.

As for Oblivion goes, so far its my most played game on the 360 console. Funny cause I think the game that will beat it is the same studios game "Fallout 3". Oblivion is like most RPG games, your a fan of one RPG or you hate that RPG, rarely ever is there a middle ground. A review nearly almost always clarifies "This game is for this kind of RPG fan".
