Fucking Gears 2 multiplayer is shitty now. 5 round games are bullshit, and everyone is a fucking moron that lets the enemies get the power weapons. Was playing Jacinto, and my teammates all went to the poison grenades. We got torqued, mortared, and hammer of dawned. It was horrendous.
Gears 1's lobby system was much better, because I could play games with a 14 round limit where the game didn't end in 5 goddamn minutes and the retarded noobs would just beat the piss out of each other on 5 round Gridlock matches and I wouldn't have to deal with them on my team.
Host advantage was fixed, but now it lags 200% more. And unlike Gears 1, if it lags, you're FUCKED.
The campaign and horde are awesomesauce, though, and make my $60 worthwhile.
