To be fair, I wouldn't call any part of audio editing a no-brainer. Audacity in particular makes me feel like my fingers are glued together, I can barely use it. A lot of my shows end up being on-the-fly tech tests, which leads to griping about why something didn't work out. So don't get discouraged orion549, if that is your real name. There's always speed bumps.
At least we're just doing this for fun. My newest hobby is finding school-educated video editors who don't know how to edit sound in Final Cut Pro. It's amazing how often you can hear their audio pop during scene cuts. I sure hope that schooling was worth ten thousand bucks, suckers!
