To be fair, I wouldn't call any part of audio editing a no-brainer.
Too true. I've used SoundForge extensively but I still didn't understand the "Time Stretch" option in Audacity until recently. If you've never done any audio editing you might want to try and find a tutorial (which, now that I look back on it, is what I should have done when I started.)

A lot of my shows end up being on-the-fly tech tests, which leads to griping about why something didn't work out.
I've learned a lot from your complaining, McNally.
