Hit up the xbox live arcade games, and you might watch your wii collect dust for a while.
As for the balance board I believe the huge sales it has made will drive game developers to include its use in development.
So right now it may or may not be cool but down the road you could see some creative use of the peripheral.
Thats assuming down the road third party developers will actually create games that aren't just mini game collections.
The problem with the wii is that its target audience does not support third party developers (excluding Guitar hero) and your quality game ratio will suffer.
Ninetendo doesn't even help itself by slow rolling its own higher quality games onto the market, or rush garbage rehash efforts like Animal Crossing. I love animal crossing, just disappointing they didn't do anything more than port the ds game to wii.
I could potentially consider picking up a wii but my dreamcast has better graphics, and my forearms dont need exercise.
