Yeah, there's plenty of shooting gallery games out there (and sure, I like shooting things too) but I feel Half Life's immerse, believable world; it's variety and it's intelligence and wit are what make it a great game.

I feel it goes back to what Half Life has always done - taking shooters above merely shooting.
