Sleep, you have to approach drinking as if you were a 12 year old girl. Go with the bullshit drinks for now. Bumwine might actually work for you and wine is respectable amongst mixed company. If that is not an option, do shots (quick and to the point) or cider. There are some pretty good ciders out there and are about the same level as beer on the drink scale. You're not gonna be sipping scotch on the rocks straight off the bat, so don't expect that.
To answer the stated question, the worst booze I've bought is Thunderbird. It's the ultimate bumwine and will turn your mouth black if you drink too much of it. Seriously, take my word on that and don't try it.
