THIS is why I'm so cautious to not let my body image affect my daughters. When we lived in SoCal, our 2 year old neighbor girl checked out her own tush in the mirror...because that is what mom did. I can't imagine putting that pressure on a toddler! So I'm very careful to not say how I feel about my body in front of my kids...and for that matter, in front of my husband. Why does he need to hear me talk about myself in such a horrible way?
It is very tough to do, but it CAN be done! (thankfully, I don't have many stepford friends)
