I've planned a few wedding in my time and my biggest advice is to have as small of a guest list as possible.

If you do not know an individual personally (like let's say your mother's co-worker), do not invite them.

Don't let anyone bully or guilt you into something you do not want to do.

Make the best of your MOH and bridesmaids as they are there to be more than just pretty wall flowers. Ask their help with most of the DIY things if you plan on any of it but don't ask too much of a financial contribution from them. Keep their dress cost low!!!
