I also noticed how the weather just switched over on the exact date for Autumn here. Someone pushed the "end Summer" button.

In Namibia, we have a stupid time change coming up... our president introduced it in the mid-90's and a huge number of people petitioned it after the first year. We were told we are disrespectful of the president and made to keep the change. We do the opposite of other countries anyway, we don't go forward in Summer - we go an hour back in Winter. Not saving any daylight there... dumb, but that extra hour of sleep does kind of rock.
