People here seem to have a weird definition of consent. The idea that one can consent to sex with a direct family member ignores the blatant power dynamic issues at play in a familial relationship. A daughter cannot have consensual sex with a father any more than a passed out person can have consensual sex.
All of the defenses here are predicated on "well, if they consent...", but they can't consent. Do I want to throw people in jail for having non-consensual sex? Yes! That's very different than throwing people in jail for smoking weed. Sign me up for building privately-run prisons that give their profits directly to Monsanto and Dick Cheney if that's what it takes.
