Supposedly, we can smell each other's immune systems. The evolutionary imperitive being that you want one that's opposite of your own so your children will have both and thusly a better one. So of course, someone with the same system would smell bad to you. So all this cologne and "body spray" is really just designed to trick nature and cheat us out of a stronger species.
