TORONTO Meetup - August 13th

Awesome guys! You guys have already set a date and time, this is working out swimmingly

I am kind of confused about the set up of the imperial though... I have only been to "The Library" on the second floor. Is the Library part of the downstairs drinkin baaa?

I'm suggesting the patio on the second floor if there is space. I'm not sure how full it gets at 6pm on a thursday when school is out.

The whole place is called the Imperial Pub and Library (I have also heard Imperial Public Library). The "libray" refers to the upstairs room but the whole building is the same establishment.

(Edit) Imperial Pub is literally a 5 minute stagger from my office! Coinckydinks make me giggle like a schoolgirl.

We got any other plans the night, or is it one of those "lets see where we end up in the morning" kinda things? I'm down either way.

I saw that Wendy mentioned a new comedy bar... we could hit that up as well, no? Or maybe that could be a side venture for another night.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like there are 12 "confirmed" and another 2 "maybes", for a total of 14.

Hey there Rob,

I think it will be more of a see where we end up kinda night - BUT if we were interested in doing the comedy thing, I haven't been to the Comedy Bar yet, but I take a class accross the street on Thursdays and it looks like they have a pretty good looking/interesting crowd out front. Ossington and Bloor is kinda of an up and coming area, but still sketchy enough that there are some other pretty cool/cheap bars in the area as well.

There may be other comedy baarrss in the are of the Imperial, but I am not personally aware of them.

Look forward to meeting everyone!
