Finally registered for the forums to say thank you for this episode. I'm low vision and have the inverse of your guest's condition, though, not as severe as his. I often feel shame and guilt when I see inspirational stories about other legally blind people doing sports, starting businesses, conquering something or other. I have some mental health issues I let ride on the coattails of the disability that people can understand, but then I don't know what to say when they suggest the things that I too could be doing. Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised by the topic and just wanted to say thanks.

I agree with alpacaseltzer, the discussion made me elated. It's the thing in life that I want to disclose to someone to build rapport.
