I have not been this impressed with MNiK since the classic, (and quite frankly mandatory) eps 3& 4 with McNally. I don't want to reveal too much, but the revelations are mind blowing and juicy! Some real doozy's. Not just the incredible insight that Keith gives, (which will undoubtedly alter the guest's life) but comments on his own life and relationships with candor not heard before, (IE former relationship with business partner Chemda!)

I don't say this lightly. This may be Keith's finest work in the realm of MNiK. A++++

I found it strangely refreshing to hear a 25 year old who's tired of life and is ready to die.

He's saved himself a lot of time & effort really. All that work he would have done to follow his dreams and strive to make something of himself, only to realise that Lady Luck is a cruel whore, and the phrase "Life's a bitch and then you die" isn't a joke at all.

Grind away, little buddy. Just like the beautiful white snow as it falls to the earth, everything ends up as icy black sludge in the gutters of the road of life.

So well done, short Andrew. I commend you on your bleak outlook, and I hope you live a long life. At first glance, the wish for a long life may seem at odds with my prior comments, but if you include the fact that I'm a bitter nasty piece of shit cunt, then it should make a bit more sense.


The phrase "Best spinoff show ever" should no longer be used for MNIK. Why? Simply because it understates the bestness and sells the show short.

As for the "Craft beer ...poofters...etc" remark, I'm not sure Scummy knows just what the fuck he's talking about. Good beer is better. Anyone who argues otherwise is either ignorant of taste, or an alcoholic who doesn't care about taste.

Scummy's never had a 'Cold Smoke' from Kettlehouse in MT, or an Oberon Ale from Bells Brewery in MI. Sure, you can buy a 'suitcase' of swill for cheap and going to partys and getting fucked up, but expensive craft beer tastes better. There are also so many flavors and methods to brewing. Just the dialogue alone that stems from good brew...

Not to say I don't like some "craft" beers. Fat Yak is a good local one I enjoy, however I'm happy with a pint of cold James Boags or VB.

This is my first post to a forum EVER. But I've been an avid listener of KATG for I think 7 years. I've lost count for real. So this is big! I don't even know if I'm doing it right! I've already failed trying to create threads, so this is all I could figure out.

BUT. I LOVE MNIK so much that it HURTS on the inside when Keith threatens he can't do it anymore. He has lost too many friends, and its just too much drinking.

Well FUCK THAT. I officially donate my liver if Keith ever needs it. If it keeps the show going, and one day Keith needs a liver, I volunteer to get tested and donate a part of my liver.

Also, you were an incredible guest. Thank you for bringing some controversy, brutal honesty(?), and raw human fuck-up-ed-ness back to MNiK. Your ability to be forthcoming, (but hesitant -just enough where Keith had to do work) and exercise his truth super powers - was truly incredible/ enjoyable.

I hope to return and give everyone an update. I had a two-day hangover after this episode so I think I'll have to go back and re-listen to...orient myself with it once again.

Keith is the best, that was an amazing time. I'll be on the forums here so if anyone has any questions hit me up.

This is actually super important and why I can't get into the last episode with Katherine Heller. She didn't become vulnerable. She simply made it appear like she was.

I judge these MNiK on the level of control Keith maintains. It's right around minute 56 that Keith is sauced, it's all laughs, but then you suddenly hear Keith's brain working. He literally stops, (as if he's dead sober) and is like, "Wait a minute - something's not adding up here."

It's that moment. It's the reveal. It's the science of Keith; his process that makes these shows so enjoyable - at least for this listener anyway.

This one was like one of those art movies where they have scenes out of chronological order so for the first two thirds you're all, "What the fuck is this thing even trying to communicate?" but then in the last third it all comes together and you're all, "Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh, nooooooooooow I get it."

I think anyone who agrees to be on MNIK knows that they have something they need sorting out. So by the time the show is over they have gotten out what they needed to and can go about making the changes in their life for the better. Andrews' issue seemed pretty clear to me early on (regarding the ex) - I really hope his outlook on life improves, he's a good guy and it pains me to hear someone feel so over life at such a young age. If he were a piece of shit, fair enough - but he's a good dude and I wish him the best.

Loved the episode. Someone should add some dramatic music to the lead up to all the puzzle pieces sinking in and Keith announcing what the big issue with the guest is.

And headaches. I would get horrible headaches and stomachaches, and later migraines. Throughout late elementary and middle school. I had MRIs and EEGs and whatever other crazy tests done by doctors. Their diagnosis: Stress.

Great episode, as per usual. Fascinating.

I enjoy Keith's ability to get information out of people in such a different way than Chemda. And both are great hosts.

Smaller scale stuff:
- Good for you, you barely stayed faithful. Doesn't mean you get a prize.
- Yes, beer is an acquired taste for most people. It's shit when you try it the first time, and I still refuse to drink it. There's no reason for me to "get used" to something when there are so many other options. Plus, I'm not a teenager. Reminds me of coffee and how most people don't like the taste of black coffee itself without having forced it into themselves for years and adding a ton of cream and sugar to it.

Bigger scale stuff:
Wow, Andrew has things to sort out.

Are there really "so many other options"? Maybe if you're one of them witless gobshites who only drinks to get drunk, but I can't think of "many other" non-water "options" when it comes to "refreshingness" after a hot or hard or hot and "hard" day than a cold "brewski". Home-made lemonade maybe, as long as it's barely sweetened, but anything more than barely sweetened tastes like shit when you're proper thirsty. Which is fine if you like the taste of shit, but I don't. And I've tried it several times, so (for once) I'm not just talking out of my ass (yes pun).
