My fucking is art. When I fuck all the wonders of the universe are revealed in pleasures so monumentally, galactically glorious that time actually stops. Which makes my fucking not only sex and art but also science.

Jo_Culprit 05-12-2010 09:05 PM

and bucho knows time stops while hes fucking cause space jesus told him so, thats why its so galactically glorious

And there you go. The title of Keith's CD. Even if no comedian has done 'The very best of' as a joke, it's too reminiscent of 'The Very Best of Bread' and no one wants that.

Bread is a band. From the 70's. They sucked. No, worse than Rush. Much, much worse.

Andrea's toothbrush 05-12-2010 11:51 PM

Micah Sherman: "I should've pulled my penis out and put it on her head."

WTF! HA! This is in the first three minutes of the show. Wow.

Junkenstein 05-13-2010 03:53 AM

The best conversation i had in my whole existance is still much worse than the worst orgasm i've had.

This poll is unbalanced.

Bucho 05-13-2010 04:30 AM

This was a brilliant, brilliant, brilliant, fun, brilliant, fun show. Chemda's laugh is always infectious to me and she seems to adore the company of these two boys so much she gets to be almost giddy when they're in the studio, and so as well as me enjoying these two boys on the show I'm infected by Chemda enjoying them and Keith always has a fine old time laughing at their shenanigans too so I get infected by his laughs also.

I mean, I listen to about 25 podcasts regularly so I almost never relisten to shows but I've listened to the last half of this one four times already. FUN FUN FUN FUN!!!

ipad and censorship

I bet Apple is pushing the censorship angle to get back into the educational market in a big way. They could corner the market in digital textbooks that cost millions less to produce but you can sell for the same price. Phone books are now dead, text books will be thing of the past soon as well. If ipads are made without explicit apps and educational models have internet browsers disabled so you can't access porn in the middle of class then they probably can make huge profits selling to schools. I've heard of private schools that have have first graders using laptops, not sure if it's just a rumor but it sounds likely.

DWarrior 05-13-2010 05:55 AM

I wonder who the 5 people are.

Junkenstein 05-13-2010 06:05 AM

Either the Contrarian Brigade, or people who never had an orgasm (they exist)

I realize I'm of the minority, but I'm a pretty talkative guy and having really deep meaningful conversations have a lot more meaning to me. I don't have a really strong sex drive as long as I'm getting laid once in awhile. I have times after a few months that the sex is more important, but if I can't talk to her, it's all worthless.

I cannot have sex with someone who cannot hold a conversation.

Junkenstein 05-13-2010 07:59 AM

Are you sure you're not convincing yourself that sex is less important because you're not doing it enough?

I'm talkative too, but i'm also a horny dog and as interesting as a dialogue can be, a nice soul numbing fuck is always better. Even a handy. There's not that much you can gain with conversations, really.

But i noticed you mention the sex-drive. You dont have to answer this, but were you always like that or do you use some meds that lower it?

I am always a bit confused when i hear about people that have no interest in sex, without being chemically altered.

Schools already have systems in place to block porn. And they likely wouldn't allow students to download apps onto their devices. So it's unlikely the education market is the reason. Having worked in IT at a school board I know they'd never purchase iPads for students to use as textbooks. The devices are not nearly flexible enough for any sort of customization to integrate into the schools network.

These two brilliant mother fuckers always make my day. I love them so much.

Even with my mouth.

serial_x 05-13-2010 08:16 AM

I love Myq and Micah, their songs were three of the best songs I've heard on KaTG and BOP! is easily my new ringtone.

LOL, nah, I'm on some medication but it's recent and has little effect on my lack of sex drive. I often spend a lot of time pretending to have a higher sex drive for the women for fear I will lose them if I don't want sex often enough. Sex is great and all, but I just find it a bit over-rated, especially when people consider meaningless sex better than a meaningful conversation. o.0 I'm quite unlike your average male so... *shrug* I am who I am, haha. A lot of people think that I'm a little feminine in my attitudes... not that I seem gay or somethin'. Hard to explain I suppose, but I am more turned on by strong meaningful conversation. Most men don't get me; suppose that's why all my friends are female. :-p

Junkenstein 05-13-2010 08:52 AM

Alright. When i was on harder meds, my sex drive got fucked up, so i always presume that. It got back multiplied by a thousand when i got off, so now it's quite hard for me to understand the lack of it.

I suppose meaningless sex sounds bad on paper but if your purpose is pleasure and spiritual healing, i never had even one sexual experience that was meaningless.

To each its own.

PS: Just as a question, and please dont take it the wrong way but have you ever fantasized about sex with men? I'm not saying this because of the feminine thing, cause that doesnt mean anything. I'm asking because i had one experience with a man, didnt like it, but it helped me amplify and clarify my approach to sexuality.

LOL, that's a pretty strange question but I don't take offense to anything (unless it's intended to offend). I actually dated a guy in high school and to some odd extent still feel some sort of attraction to him (we still talk once in awhile), but it's not sexual at all... hardly makes any sense I suppose, but the idea of doing anything beyond kissing with another man gives me the chills. No matter how open-minded I see myself, I cannot bring myself to even try it. I've been given more than a few opportunities, lol. Almost every gay man I've ever met has tried to bed me, and I draw the line at like... cuddling and stuff. I'm comfortable to chill with other guys and even be cuddly with them (or being weird just for the reactions with straight guys), but have no sexual attraction to men at all, lol.

I know, hardly a simple response, which is why I thought your question was a little interesting. Haha :-p Like I said, not like most men.

Junkenstein 05-13-2010 09:09 AM

Thanks for answering and being open. I'm just curious, and i like knowing people.

PS Regarding people and their sex drives, there are certainly people who differ naturally. I've listened to Dan Savage's podcast a bunch, and read his columns, and there are all kinds of people who range from completely asexual to every level libido possible. Certainly drugs can affect things, but some people's things are affected already.

Sex as art!

Junkenstein 05-13-2010 10:37 AM

Yet, even after reading "Psychopathia Sexualis" and learning that there's people who enjoy stuff that my mind has even a hard time figuring on paper, asexuality still strikes me as very very odd (as long as it's not the result of traumas or meds).

Yet, Myq is smarter than me, so i'll take his word as truth.

I don't really "understand" asexuality either. I mean, you understand what you're attracted to. You can intellectualize what others are attracted to. Some people are attracted to things that don't exist, like centaurs, or even attracted to the idea of BEING something that they're not, like an animal (that exists or doesn't). But if those types of people exist (which I take Dan Savage's and his guests' word for that they do), then why not a person who is not sexually attracted to anything, real or imagined? (Maybe that is the hardest to understand... maybe they just haven't imagined the right centaur... I mean, there's plenty of mermaids in the sea. Or not.)

And to clarify, I'm not the expert here, just quoting from the expert's podcast. So it's truth twice removed, which is a Kevin Bacon degree that I can handle, along with the truth, a la A Few Good Men with Kevin Bacon.

Grapist 05-13-2010 11:05 AM

Some people are attracted to the Eiffel Tower and rollercoasters.

Really? Both? That is bullshit. You have to pick.

I can understand objectum sexuality OR polyamory, but both at once? That's unnatural.

(Not really, obviously. Certainly, one of the main advantages of dating inanimate objects is that they don't get jealous. If they're green, it's not with envy. They're probably just painted green.)

Enjoy whatever, everyone and everything!

DWarrior 05-13-2010 11:34 AM

If you could get with the Eiffel Tower, why the fuck do you stoop down to rollercoasters?

Junkenstein 05-13-2010 11:41 AM

The eiffel tower is a lady, she only does vanilla and wants to be treated like a princess. Rollercoaster is more adventurous, is into weird stuff and rough sex. And then there's people who settle on a doormat.

....
....

I... Think... (runs away)

If a well known, insanely rich golfer can get a swedish model, why go after porn stars and other whores?

If a dumb as rocks ex-bodyguard turned mechanic can get an award winning actress, why the fuck would he stoop down to skanky nazi chicks?

Who knows?

Junkenstein 05-13-2010 01:07 PM

Hahahahahahaaaaaaa.... Myq is always funny and always will be and Micah got sooooo fuckin' hilarious since his first appearances.

He was so dry and depressed at first, now he's just a riot.

Definitive proof that having sex makes you funnier. Do you know any virgin comedian? (besides Paula Poundstone and David Kasten which are strange exceptions)

The Living Dead 05-13-2010 01:19 PM

I love Keith and Chemda's advice. When I'm being an overdramatic, self-centered, inexperienced, dumb little college student, they remind me of the real world and help me to put everything in perspective.

DionJ 05-13-2010 01:35 PM

Wow, I'm really glad I took the time to find these forums. The past few days I got into listening to podcasts at work (working boring long nights at the grocery store gets really fuckin... BORING), and this is most definitely my favorite show. I just feel like I relate best to these guys; they are open-minded but don't take any bullshit. It's a fantastic combination. And these forums replicate that very well.

Anyway, I love what Myq had to say about there being levels between asexuality and well... "nymphomania", and if that is the case, I can totally understand how asexuality can exist. It's not so much a lack of sexual desire as much as it is a sexual attraction to specific feelings, and it's not feelings you can describe in any language. It's a feeling you get when you converse with a certain person and whatnot. Like I feel it entirely, though I most certainly have a bit of a physical sexuality to me as well. But there are people that no matter how disgusting they might be physically, if they can carry on a certain conversation and relate to me in just the right way, I will fuck their brains out, LOL.

I love that I've found someone who has put it into some sort of logical terminology that makes my feelings make sense. o.0 Myq you're my new hero!

punk'n 05-13-2010 02:08 PM

I love me some art but it can't hold a candle to sex. And sex with an artist?! Now you're talking! Mmmm....

ADD: Also, I loved the show today. Many LOZ and I think Myq is one of my new faves. He's super funny.

/off to learn to be an artist
//wikipedia is my friend in this endeavor

Junkenstein 05-13-2010 02:26 PM

Remember that you dont have to do any actual art to look and sound like an artist.

The sensitive, decadent, self destructive artist pose works well with the younger ladies.

Then again Punk'n is young but mature enough to know the difference.

Thanks, and I do have a very funny friend who has been at least for the bulk of his career a virgin comedian. We started together in Boston, and I just heard for the first time this year that he might not be single anymore (and he previously had a large chunk of virgin- and virgin-related material, which was absolutely based in reality).

His name is Erik Charles Nielsen. Check him out.

DO NOT READ THIS POST MYQ!!!!

Pssst, no one remind myq that he has a cd now and doesn't have to come in and interact with us even though I think he is awesome for being both a great/funny guest and a personable human being.

Junkenstein 05-13-2010 03:46 PM

I love how Myq interacts with the forums. He's funny, unique and takes time respondign to each question or simply thank everyone who appreciates him.

He's one of the rare comics that's also a nice person.

Unique, as i said.
