I haven't listened to the show yet but bingo was fucking awesome.

I had so much fun. My Canadian friend said she felt a little uncomfortable with all the "USA! USA!" chants. She got over it when she won a backpack. haha

Hopefully I can make it back up next month.

Thought Keith's rant about the Gamestop employees was spot on. I'm a little conflicted with those guys though. Sure, they are smug jerks caught up in the tiniest minutia of their chosen profession but they also KNOW THEIR SHIT. It's really frustrating because I would love to get their advice before spending my hard earned money but I can do with out the douche condescending attitude.

I once had a Gamestop employee talk my wife and I out of buying a product because he thought we could get a better type of headset at a rival store. So he sent us to Best Buy. He was sort of rude about it but I know it came from a good place even though his nerdiness couldn't express it well.

Of course the counter experience to this is walking into Best Buy or Walmart and having some mumble mouth simpleton stare at the ground as you plead for them to point out where the game you want is placed on the shelves. Ugh... I need to complain to a manager.

This whole thing has been extremely embarrassing for me. A lot of unwanted attention for something that happens to me all the time as it does for most woman who go out on their own often. I can say that I'm at least glad it brought about a conversation on air that I think brings to light an important issue. Men can be predators and it's gross. Not to say that woman can't be just as bad, because I've witnessed both sides. It just sucks, it ruins an evening.

So word to the wise for men and women, get the hint. If someone isn't interested, move on. And for the love of god, don't physically touch people or restrain them, you'e just asking for a lot of trouble.
So basically, "this happens all the time, it's okay I've got this."

If some dude ever came onto your average guy like that, he would have had his face kicked in. I don't know how big this mako (neko?) guy is, but there's ample justification for him getting more than shouted at, and more than the finger.

In the one hand, I realize the thin line a woman walks when she rejects a man, and no one wants to escalate violence. But on the other, "no means no" has to be a much stronger statement than it is. Strange creep men (and women) will continue to be strange creeps as long as the only retaliation is the finger. That's nothing. He was trying to physically restrain a woman who was actively resisting him. Force for force, he should have got dropped.

A lot of rapes happen on dates or by people the victim knows. Does that mean I shouldn't go on dates or hang out with people I know?

I didn't mean to imply you weren't, just looking for a sorta funny way to say I had a crush.

More to the point, I have shut down creepy guys in the past who have been bothering friends of mine with a simple glare. Is that not a better option then literally having to run away from a dude later?

I think the photoshop is the other way around. It looks more like american media added the women to the photo to appease people, I mean women in the war room? Who are we kidding?

if they added hillary clinton to appease people, then something's wrong with the world.

they should also make Obama white, btw.

Isn't that what attracts women to men in the first place? Feeling protected and secure from all the creeps and generally bad people in the world. Naturally, it's why the alpha male is usually the most desired. I'm not trying to put women down at all, but our purpose in life is to reproduce; a woman must carry the babies and the man protects both of them.
