My ex's father didn't agree with his daughter's relationship choice either, he constantly refered to me as "Nancy"... even at family gatherings.

We once went out to dinner with her family and her father insisted on driving everyone to the restaurant. The dinner went great and i thought that he'd finally learnt to deal with me, or at least was nice to me because i was paying for the dinner. We were getting ready to leave and he said he was going to get the car while i was paying for the meal, i walked outside only to realise he'd packed his wife and daughter into the car and left without me. My girlfriend was all apologies when i finally arrived home in a taxi. For the rest of the night she kept say "When you think about it, it's kinda funny" and i just replied with a simple "Um, no... no it isn't".

Who gives a fuck if her father likes you or not. My wife's parents can't fucking stand me. It makes for a good excuse to skip family shit.

"But honey, if I don't go, is anybody really gonna miss me?"

That one works every time.

Last thanksgiving I volunteered to deep fry the turkey only because I knew it would put me outside for at least an hour.

And, every christmas eve after dinner they all get ready to go to midnight mass while I sprawl out on their couch for a nap. Fuck them and their stupid church!

I like my job honestly I do, but the one thing that really pisses me off the one thing that makes me want to look for another job is that I have to wear a tie. I feel that one of these days my head is just going to pop off

Hey I hate to stick my nose in other people's business, but since my nose is so big and since you broadcast it all anyway, i think i gotta do what i gotta do.
Chemda, you should stop bein afraid of your pops. it is weird that he refuses to acknowledge Keith after 3 years of living together. Keith and you have a great relationship and I think your dad should appreciate that. I hear that he is old school and middle east and that Keith is a gentile. but keith be one of the righteous ones, so stand up for him.
