This would have been cool if he were living on the street for 30 days and commenting on his experiences, or traveling the country sleeping out of his car or something. In his experiment he mooches off his friends and in the event that he doesn't have a place to stay he sleeps at his girlfriends place, yawn. I've had a couple months like this and would NEVER call it art.

When the episode began I was excited by the "homeless" conversation because I thought there would be a good story of how it happened and what his life is like, but about 10 minutes in I realized I was listening to a lazy, self absorbed man-child going through his post-adolescent idealistic phase.

I commend Keith and Chemda for putting up with him as long as they did. I wouldn't have been able to hold off telling him to get off his ass, get a job and become a contributing member of society.
Well, he has a job. It's doing that. Didn't you hear when he said his podcast is sponsored by Roommates.com?

I really don't get the negativity for Kunal. He's a nice, funny guy who jibed well with the show and is doing something interesting (and yes, artful) with the skills and connections he's made as a comic. He books these appearances, his hosts know what they're getting into. It's not like he shows up at a stranger's house, plunks down on his or her couch and says "so, what are we talking about?"

He's doing something interesting with willing, interested people. Good for him. Stop bitching anonymously on the Internet and go do what you think he should be doing if you have a problem with the guy.

I did hear the part about being sponsored, that blew my mind more than anything. I am sure his buddies all know what they are in for, he did make it pretty clear that he asks their permission and offers to do the dishes and seems to be a gracious guest. That does not make him an inspirational artist. I don't find his project interesting, I think he is rationalizing his laziness.

I really wish KatG already had a follow up show. I'd also like to hear the 'girlfriend' with the 'kid'

I'm tired of trashing Kunal. Let me put it simply for all the infantilized men who know nothing of women and the world of parenting.

I have absolutely no problem with Kunal other than he should not be 'dating' this single mother. It's wrong on multiple levels. Period.

Aren't they the blokes who like wearing diapers and shitting themselves?

Fuck you.

He can date whomever he wants. Let the mother decide if he's right or wrong. Women can, with proper training and supervision, make decisions about their lives for themselves. And get your government out of her uterus.

Upon first listening to this episode, I was blinded to this guy's douchebaggery by Chemda's incapability to get that he doesn't have the rent for the past five months. It's gone. He hasn't been saving it. What didn't she get about his answer? She asked about it so many times, it was mindblowingly frustrating... and made me side with an idiot there for a minute. Seriously though, Chemda, not everyone is constantly financially responsible and not everyone had a house given to them. I love Chemda, but it's really frustrating how naive she seems sometimes. She's selling herself short, when really she's an awesome person. And I feel like it's happening more and more lately. *sigh*

I was asking because I wanted to know specifically what "ballin" means. I certainly have not always been responsible with my money. It usually comes with a constant underlining nervousness because I'm upset about how being an adult is harder than I expected. I spent my money on eating out and seeing friends' shows for the most part. I want to know what he did with his.

I don't know who told you I got gifted a house but that's incorrect. The preview owner to my home is my dad but that doesn't mean I didn't pay for it. And I'm not talking about being a good girl.

Part of me thinks it's good that you hear me as naive sometimes because I get worried that time makes me jaded. Happy to still be curious and naive.

Glad you think I'm "awesome". Hate to see what you'd say if you didn't.
Keith, Bucho, flerchin and 4 others like this.

You guys HAVE to listen to Baby Talk, I think this dude just isn't all that great in an interview because his girlfriend, the doll face, explained the situation with a real eloquence. I take back some of my assholery.

So, the 6 yr old 'kid' is enjoying his stay then?

You make a valid point. I recant all previous posts.
