Today, I heard someone here in the UK referring to a recent rape, as a Cosby.

I wonder if it will catch on.

I think it is telling that he puts roofies in the drinks but what does the alcohol have to do with it?
The women probably knew that they were drinking alcohol and accounted for how that might impact them, they didn't think they would be knocked out by one cocktail.

Are you saying that if you don't drink yourself you shouldn't offer others alcohol when you are playing host? Unless handling alcohol puts you on risk to relapse where is the problem with that?

Or should women just stay sober when out and about? Alcohol might mask the pills better but I assume he could have put them in juice just as well.

A fair question.

Look. I'm a heavy drinker. I know...drinking. There are those who drink and those who do not. If someone were to come to me and say that they're anxious or having a bad day; I would recommend alcohol almost immediately. I would pour us BOTH a drink.

Bill Cosby does not drink. Not only that, but he has a ton of material on NOT drinking or doing drugs. He has a clean, distinctly pure/ anti-drinking/ drugging persona. So for him to be recommending to ALL these ladies, "Here. Have a red eye beer - relax" It's just highly suspect. Also, why a 'tomato juice beer? Is it to hide the crushed pill/ roofies?

As someone who regulates emotions with drugs and alcohol; seeing clean cut people who abstain suggest others drink/ drug is suspicious. Especially when you factor in, one of the models HAD JUST FINISHED REHAB. FOR DRINKING ALCOHOL! Cosby knew this!

Maybe my point doesn't make sense because you live in a country where drinking is more normalized..?

Anyways. I would ask that all women in a bar now refer to roofies as "Cosby's" from now on though. As in, "Hey I'm running to the bathroom. Watch my drink for Cosby's."

Bill Cosby just REALLY enjoyed hosting. To women. That were half his age. Privately. In a hotel room. With no one else around.
