Is there a line between raising the bar and an unfair edge? If so, where? If not, then why even have gender divisions for competitive fighting?

If she has lost to a cis woman before, seems to me like we are still in "raising the bar" stage.

Also, your second question sounds like you're still thinking of her as a man, which we agreed is not the case.

No, he's saying if the big-boned lady is fair simply because it raises the bar then why not have actual men raise the bar as well?

The naturalness doesn't doesn't matter because (unless an athlete owns up) there's no way to judge it. The outcries continue regardless.

Because it's the women's division? I don't understand how this is even a question.

Easy tiger with that one. She's not an example of the fighter winning EVERY time.

It's a question because that is his question.

The point is that women's divisions exist, but if they didn't, this wouldn't even be an issue. If you think that "raising the bar" is the most important thing, then why even have a women's division? At what point does the line cease to be arbitrary/pointless?

You're right Keith, there's no such thing as a stupid question. I apologize.

Raising the bar for women, specifically. Lots of women have physical advantages over other women, that does not make them men.
