These people are ridiculous thinking the steelers aren't going to bring home a championship within 5 years tops i say buddy. I think Chemda might be onto something though. Doubling the bet each year will definitely give you the best yield.

Also nobody seemed to appreciate dannys cosby raped a ghost joke but I had a literal lol.

Sorry to rain on the parade but steelers went 26 years without winning from 1980 to 2006

I voted yes because Keith will probably win in the sense that the Steelers will get another championship in the next 23 years. However, you may not even double your money if you don't bet before the season. What if they go 8-0 or 10-0 to open the season? You'd be betting on a Super Bowl favorite and the odds could pay a winner less than 1:1. You could bet $100 and get back less than $200.

The town you are talking about "Gun Town USA" is my town, Kennesaw, GA where there was a law passed in 1982 that every home owner is required to own a hand gun. Since the law passed there was 1 murder in 2003 and 1 in 2004 and they were both domestic...

Amanda in Atlanta

(the tour has to come down South)

38 minute mark:
Keith says "it is fun to go out with your buddies and shoot cans."
Reminds me of an old joke.
The punch line was "Puerto Ri-cans. Mexi-cans. Jamai-cans."

Probably funnier 60 years ago.

At 39:54 Keith asks "Where is this town where everybody's allowed to have guns everywhere?".

The town is called Kennesaw. It's in Georgia just outside Atlanta.

Quote:
25 YEARS MURDER-FREE IN 'GUN TOWN USA'
Crime rate plummeted after law*
required firearms for residents

Prior to enactment of the law, Kennesaw had a population of just 5,242 but a crime rate significantly higher (4,332 per 100,000) than the national average (3,899 per 100,000). The latest statistics available – for the year 2005 – show the rate at 2,027 per 100,000. Meanwhile, the population has skyrocketed to 28,189.

By comparison, the population of Morton Grove, the first city in Illinois to adopt a gun ban for anyone other than police officers, has actually dropped slightly and stands at 22,202, according to 2005 statistics. More significantly, perhaps, the city’s crime rate increased by 15.7 percent immediately after the gun ban, even though the overall crime rate in Cook County rose only 3 percent. Today, by comparison, the township’s crime rate stands at 2,268 per 100,000.

This was not what some predicted.

In a column titled “Gun Town USA,” Art Buchwald suggested Kennesaw would soon become a place where routine disagreements between neighbors would be settled in shootouts. The Washington Post mocked Kennesaw as “the brave little city … soon to be pistol-packing capital of the world.” Phil Donahue invited the mayor on his show.

Reuters, the European news service, today revisited the Kennesaw controversy following the Virginia Tech Massacre.

Police Lt. Craig Graydon said: “When the Kennesaw law was passed in 1982 there was a substantial drop in crime … and we have maintained a really low crime rate since then. We are sure it is one of the lowest (crime) towns in the metro area.” Kennesaw is just north of Atlanta.

Virginia Tech, like many of the nation’s schools and college campuses, is a so-called “gun-free zone,” which Second Amendment supporters say invites gun violence – especially from disturbed individuals seeking to kill as many victims as possible.
The last bit touches on what Chemda was saying at the 39:52 mark when she said "... so they'll just go to the diner."

Look at Chicago. Almost as bad as NYC (from gun control perspective). But look at the *surprising results /end sarcasm* when Chicago allowed pistol permits:

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/...n-pe/?page=all

The thick and veiny is that crime dropped. No one wants to get shot robbing you for 20 bucks.

You're arguing that criminals have guns when they are banned.

No, guns would be BANNED. Where would they get them?

Some moron on here told me he was going to make me a gun years ago to show me how simple it is.

I still never even saw a picture of it.

3d printers are all the rage.

http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_3_4/676..._gentler_.html

Some choose to cast them from urethane repro mold.

There are plenty of people with CNC milling machines...

Barring that, there are jigs and fixture that let you finish them with a drill press...

when that fails, people even bolt them together...

It's been done to death so often the challenge now becomes making miniature functioning replicas...

They aren't all AR15's either.

Here is an ak47 made from a shovel:

Pistols...

They don't even have to be existing designs... like these 3d printed pistols:

This guy made one from a piece of Home Depot plumbing pipe, a thrift store chair, and some spoons:

There are laws associated with this. The firearm in question must be for your own use. You cannot sell or trade it because then you would be classified as a "manufacturer".
You must be able to legally own the firearm in your state.
There are even laws which specify the weight of pistols and the barrel lengths of handguns and rifles.
The main issue with 3d printed firearms is that they are undetectable. There is a pre-existing law regarding undetectable firearms:

The United States*Undetectable Firearms Act of 1988*(18 U.S.C. § 922(p)) makes it illegal to manufacture, import, sell, ship, deliver, possess, transfer, or receive any firearm that is not as detectable by walk-through*metal detection*as a security exemplar containing 3.7 oz of steel, or any firearm with major components that do not generate an accurate image before standard airport imaging technology.[1]

Source: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unde...e_Firearms_Act

Are there people who could hypothetically use these for evil? Yes, but how is that different from stealing a car and crashing into a school? Both acts endanger lives and are already illegal.
