Bobby Brown was likely experiencing sleep paralysis. It's very common to have hallucinations during bouts of sleep paralysis and its not unusual for those hallucinations to be sexual. It's hypothesized that throughout history men and women suffering from sleep paralysis along with accompanying sexual hallucinations is what gave birth to the idea of Succubus and Incubus demons. So he isn't completely insane.

One time the ghost of my cat visited me but we didn't fuck. Every other time has just been irrational terror.

Lie in your bed and open your eyes. That's what sleep paralysis feels like. It doesn't feel like a dream. If a person was having sex with me and I believed in ghosts, I really might believe it was a ghost.

Sleep paralysis is very real and not uncommon. Not everyone fucks ghosts when they have sleep paralysis, but some do. It feels like there are demons in the room. When you wake up, your mind is awake before your body is. You have to calm down, drift back to sleep, and hope you finally wake up (otherwise it's like a sleep paralysis session within another sleep paralysis session). There's a scientific explanation for it all.

No one sane will admit the sex with ghosts part. So yes, Bobby Brown is insane.
