Jay-walking
Ok so according to Wikipedia the term Jaywalking started with “Jay-Drivers” these were people who drove horse drawn carriages and automobiles on the wrong side of the road. This was around 1900s when there were no laws and it was chaos.
I didn’t see anything about “Jay being racial. It seems to Be an old timey word for inexperienced. When used as a slur, a jay is an idiot or dullard. Last edited by Enunciated Piffle; 05-15-2018 at 03:13 PM. Reason: I’m a dick |
